Opening Ceremony of KLM airline’s first flight took place in Astana Airport
Opening Ceremony of KLM Airline’s first flight was held in Astana airport at 23 hr. 30 min. on 03 May 2016. Flight Opening Ceremony was begun with greeting of Mr.Paolo Ricciotti Adviser for Chairman of the Board of Astana Airport. expressed his wishes for a successful collaboration. However, it was noted that the new airline was significant move in the development of the capital airport that corresponded to the implementation of “100 concrete steps” program for support of air links with international centers. Representatives of Kazakhstan Aviation Authorities, Airports and Airlines attended ribbon cutting ceremony. Each passenger received a memorable gift from KLM Airline, and guests and media representatives were able to participate in a lottery where round-trip ticket to Europe was main prize. In addition, guests were able to enjoy refreshments from Netherlands.
