Training Seminar on State Language Record Keeping was Held in the Capital Airport
On the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Languages Development Department held a training seminar devoted to the issues of terminology and translation within the framework of State Program of Development and Functioning of Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2020 and in accordance with Annual Action Plan of the Department.
The seminar was attended by about thirty employees – record keepers responsible for record keeping in the structural units and employees attending courses of record keepers.
Rose Seytmaganbetova Head of Department congratulated the participants with the 24 th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence and noted that “the State Language is a support of Independence”,” that it is the legacy left by our ancestors, and our task is to develop and strengthen the status of the Kazakh language.
During the seminar, Ainur Mukanova Leading Specialist familiarized the participants with the new terms, Kenzhe Zamzebay the State Language Teacher told on usage of some adjectives postpositions “туралы, жөнінде, бойынша”, neologisms in an official documents.
Assem Tulekova Specialist of the Department spoke about the need for strict observance of the rules of spelling and punctuation, she has worked with the text and with frequent errors. The purpose of translation is to establish relations of equivalence between the original and translated text (in order to both texts have the same meaning). Therefore, it is important to take into account the fact what a difficult task is placed before record keepers.
At the end of the seminar, participants shared their views, suggestions and expressed gratitude for the very interesting and useful seminar.
